Barbera d’Alba | Ross
This fine red wine is made from a careful selection of late-harvested barbera grapes grown in the Barbera d’Alba area of production, followed by a long traditional fermentation.
Two years in Slavonian oak, followed by refining in barrique, then in the bottle.
14,5 % by vol.
Deep ruby-red with a long, full, penetrating bouquet hinting at violets, vanilla, plum and underbrush; very well-balanced, elegant, velvety taste with a powerful body.
At a temperature of 18-20°C.
Excellent with courses of strong meat or mature cheeses, it is also recommended with pasta dishes in general.
It can keep for up to 15 years in a cool place at a constant temperature, lying down so that there is no air between the cork and the wine.
